The STD Series Event Detectors - Economical, high channel count, surface-mount solder-joint reliability monitors

The STD Series Event Detectors offer test specifications originating from surface mount solder joint reliability testing requirements. Like all other Event Detectors, these instruments can be used for testing other types of interconnects according to these electrical test specifications (see below). Like other Event Detectors, the STD series provides transient resistance detection with respect to a selected threshold resistance.

This instrument family affords the lowest cost per channel and is available with up to 256 channels per instrument. In addition, these instruments can be linked together to effectively function as a single Event Detector with up to 1024 channels. This economical Event Detector family offers ease of operation and a high degree of electrical noise immunity.
